Antenatal classes and midwifery

Anne Halpenny and Yvonne Marry are experienced Irish midwives who run the Antenatal classes at Atlantic Clinic and offer postnatal support.

Antenatal classes can help you and your partner to prepare for labour, birth and early parenthood in small, informal groups. It is also a great opportunity to meet other mothers and share experiences.

CPR and First Aid Courses

Ann Halpenny is an Emergency First Response Instructor and offers CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and First Aid courses at Atlantic Clinic. This teaches you the skills to save a person’s life in an emergency situation.

Parents, babysitters, au-pairs, grandparents, nursery workers and therapists to name but a few are those who can benefit from this excellent training.

Nursing Services

English nurses and carers are available for anything from home care, to extra help in the hospital, to accompanying patients who are being repatriated to their home country.

Electrophysiology

Dr Mercedes Alvarez carries out studies of the electrical activity of the body to detect or assess a range of disorders  such as nerve damage (sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, trapped nerves), muscle disease, Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, multiple sclerosis  and other brain disorders.
